Sampling is defined as the process employed by the researcher to select a specific set of people from the population (Etikan & Bala, 2017). The snow ball sampling is further the one in which the researcher employs the participants for the study or test to find out the potential participants due to the difficulty of findings such participants on their own. The respondents were asked about the impact of improvement strategies employed for inbound logistics on the production capacities and quality. Some of the respondents have stated that improvement strategies surely help in boosting the inbound logistics operations by the supplier. According to the respondents, the creativity and innovation by the supplier for the flow of material and other inputs to the producer helps the supplier in meeting the demand and the requirements of the producer. The respondents have also added that such strategies help the supplier in ensuring that there are adequate amount of supplies with them at all times to meet the dynamic requirement of the producer. Some of the other respondents have added that the improvement strategies employed to boost the inbound logistics enable the supplier to manage the cost which in turn help them to offer the raw material and other inputs at reasonable prices. All the respondents have further stated that these strategies help in promoting and managing the supplier and the customer relationship.

The respondents have been further asked about the impact of improvement strategies employed for outbound logistics on the customer satisfaction. Some of the respondents have stated that the improvement strategies that have been employed to ensure effective flow of the final products and services to the end customer help in adding to the level of customer satisfaction. According to the respondents, the strategies have been helpful for the companies in ensuring that the right kind of products and services reach to the end customer at the right point of time and in the right volume. This as per the respondents has helped the producers in meeting the demand and the requirement of the customers at all times which has ultimately helped in adding to the customer satisfaction. Along with this, some of the respondents have also added that the improvement strategies employed in the area of outbound logistics further ensure that the activities and operations employed to ensure the effective flow of the final products and services to the customer helps in adding value to the goods and in meeting the requirements of the customers. the respondents have therefore indicated the services of the outbound logistics such as storage and transportation helps in maintaining the cost and prices of the goods and services. The respondents have thus pointed out towards the benefit that the effective outbound logistics operations have in the regulation of prices. All of the respondents have agreed about the fact that improvement strategies employed in the area of outbound logistics help in adding to the customer satisfaction.

The respondents were further asked about the way in which inbound logistics has boosted the supplier and the customer relationship. Some of the respondents have stated that the inbound logistics operations ensure that the raw material and inputs that are required by the customer for the purpose of further production are available as per the needs and the requirements. Along with this, the respondents have also pointed out towards the role played by the internal logistics in the helping the producer to forecast demand. This way the producer is able to understand the requirements in the market and accordingly adjust the demand capacity and the production. Two of the respondents have stated that the flow of information along with the flow of raw material and other inputs from the side of the supplier requires the producer to maintain healthy relationship with the supplier. These respondents have directly pointed out towards the role played by the supplier in ensuring success of the goods and services produced by the producer. The respondents have therefore added that the effective supplier and the customer relationship is therefore beneficial for both the supplier and the customer (producer) which is an outcome of the effective inbound operations.

In the same way the activities that are a part of the outbound logistics helps in adding to the supplier and the customer relationship. One of the respondents has highlighted that the services and benefits of storage and the transportation of good and services from the point of production to the point of consumption helps in flow of the required products and services by the consumer. The respondent has therefore added that when the customer is able to meet the needs and requirement, it adds to the level of customer satisfaction from not just the products and the services but also from the supplier. This way the respondent has provided an understanding about the way in which outbound logistics helps in improving the supplier and the customer relationship. Two of the other respondents have added that the outbound logistics operations help in the flow of information from the customer to the supplier about the changes taking place in the market and the industry along with the changes taking place in the taste and preferences of the end customer. These respondents have therefore stated that flow of information from the side of the customer makes it important or the supplier to have a healthy relationship with the customer. Along with this, the respondents have also indicated that the customers also look for the suppliers who are able to meet their needs and requirements in the best way possible. Therefore, the customers also prefer to have good relationship with the supplier who are able to satisfy them in every possible manner. Therefore, all the respondents have directed towards the importance of both the inbound and the outbound logistics on the supplier and the customer relationship.

In addition to this, the respondents were also asked about the way in which the storage facilities and transportation facilities by the supplier helped in improving the production. Two of the respondent were of the opinion that the storage facilities which are used by the supplier to keep a stock of the raw material and the inputs required by the producer helps in ensuring that there is adequate stock as per the requirements. These respondents have further added that the use of storage facilities by such suppliers ensure that there is no shortage of the supplies and at the same time, the supplier does not have huge stocks of material which might not be required by the producer. Two of the other respondents have added that the storage facilities used by the supplier ensure that the maintenance of the cost of such supplies so that the these do not add to the cost of production. Along with this, the respondents have also highlighted the significance of the transportation facilities in improving the production. Most of the respondent have stated that effective transportation facilities employed by the supplier ensure that the required raw material and other input reach to the producer at the right point of time. The respondents have further added that this ensures that the producer is not required to wait for the raw material and save a lot of cost and efforts.  All the respondents have pointed out towards the positive impact of the storage and the transportation facilities used by the suppliers in promoting the production quality and the quantity as well while meeting the demands of the market and the end customers.

Along with this, the respondents were also asked about the responsibility of supplier to add to the supplier and customer relationship. To this, the respondents have provided a number of diverse view points. According to one of the respondents, the supplier has the responsibility to ensure the effective flow of material that is required by the producer for the purpose of further production or sale. The respondent has added that in this respect, it is the responsibility of the supplier to ensure that best of the storage and the transportation facilities are being used in order to manage the flow of the raw material and other inputs. This way the supplier has to be active in selecting the storage facilities and the means of transporting the products and inputs required by the producer. The respondents have highlighted the same in the case of a producer offering final products and services to the end customer. This way the respondent has pointed out towards the role played by the supplier in ensuring the effective relationship between the customer and the supplier at all times. Along with this, one of the respondent has also added to the list of responsibilities of the supplier in adding to the supplier and the customer relationship. According to the respondent, the supplier has to protect the personal information that is supplied by the customer in order to get the best products and services. The respondent has further added that in order to understand the needs and the demands of the customer, the supplier requires some of sort of information. The information helps the supplier in determining the best products and services that would satisfy the needs of the customer or even the producer. The respondent has thus stated that it is the responsibility of the protecting the information that is provided by the customer. The supplier must understand the sensitivity of dealing with the information of the customer and protect it to the best of the ability.
