Project report Introduction and rationale: Due to the unanticipated impact of the corona pandemic it has become necessary to redesign the final assessments for the EEE1009 module. These were threefold:- 1. Presentation to tutor 2. Video of project to include explanation of how it works 3. Demonstration of project There is common ground in all these activities and so it has been decided to run an alternative assessment that can be done away from university that will replace all three. The next page gives a breakdown of what we expect. [EEE1009] Page 2 of 2 Instructions to candidates: You are to submit a technical dossier, saved as a pdf, about your project. The following guidance gives a breakdown of the sections to be included in the report, and the marks attached to each section. Include details about why this project is useful, any impact it might have on society or individuals, any environmental issues it has, costs and potential improve lives. 2 10 Circuit schematic Include a circuit diagram paying particular attention to correct pins for the Arduino, and ensure that issues such as voltage differences between the Arduino and the sensors and actuators are explained. 1 15 Input Interfaces and sensors What are the inputs, how will they connect to the Arduino NANO, including specifications of the devices you are using. 2 15 Output Interfaces and actuators What are the outputs, how will they connect to the NANO, including specifications 2 15 Processing Explanation of the program accompanied by either real code or Pseudo-code plus a flowchart or state diagram to show how it works. You must include an explanation of the values you are measuring, e.g. input voltages, sensor readings etc and any logic tests and decisions such as if statements 2 15 Testing Details of testing required to verify correct operation. Produce a table of tests that would show the project working. Include a variety of input conditions and the expected outcomes that would show correct operation of the project 2 10 Evaluation Explain how the project could be developed if it were to be made as a real product.
