PART A ii)
Minimum level of resources
Leveling of resources is done when too many resources conflict and over-allocation occurs. Leveling is working by delaying tasks and splitting resources according to reducing overloads. There are two options available in MS projects to manage resources which are resource smoothing and resource-leveling. We can prioritize the task depending on its importance and availability of leveling. Some tasks may be critical and they cant be leveled. Special consideration is required here. We have an option to select the level function by choosing among different tasks. We have manual and automatic leveling options. The resource sheet shall be checked before and after leveling of resources.(Praj et.al,2019).
Table 5 : Details of resources after leveling
Minimum hours of network engineer is observed as 296 hours this can be split as 8 hrs per day
Table 6 : Network engineer minimum duration
OVER HEADS AND FIXED COST ASSIGNMENT
When a fixed cost is entered in the task sheet, it is a time-phased portion of the existing task, and usage is according to the method selected. Here when we enter a fixed cost at the start or end of a project, MS project calculates at the start or end of the task. MS project enters the full value of fixed cost across the complete duration of the task.
Table 7 : Details of fixed cost
Here the fixed cost specified for each task was added and it contributed towards the total cost of the project. The fixed cost was added for tasks 3,4 and 12 . There was a requirement for the test site to be done which was 350 $ week. The same was reflected in the total cost of the project.
CHANGING WORKING TIME
Here required changes are made according to the plan as follows: -

Why calender is used in ms project
The initial schedule of each task could be clearly determined to wit the help of a calendar option in the MS project. We could change the working hours according to the requirement of the construction firm. We can schedule work at night and day time accordingly. The shift timing option is also shown here. When resources are assigned to tasks, ms project calculates the duration of the task with the help of a calendar option. We can directly apply the calendar task or even override the existing calendar.
Table 8 : Details of Calender
Table 9 : tracking variances
Table 10 : tracking variances of tasks
Tracking helps to compare different sets of dates for a specific activity. It helps to track the progress of an existing task to the corresponding baseline. For tracking progress its necessary to examine the project schedule and identify dependencies. There may be a different baseline plan for existing customers and the internal team. With the actual value of start and finish dates, we can check whether the progress is according to schedule. The creation of a specific baseline is mandatory to compare the project progress. The baseline is developed if the plan is fully progressed. Project managers should always keep in mind of resource usage, time, and cost of the project. Any revision with actual information may be studied carefully.(Jizz et.al,2015).
